The front of this coin features the iconic cigar-holding portrait of Luang Phor Koon — one of the most recognisable and collectible depictions of the monk, capturing his characteristically humble and unassuming manner. The reverse carries a sacred yantra, blessed at Wat Ban Rai, Nakhon Ratchasima.
Luang Phor Koon Parisuttho was one of Thailand’s most widely revered monks, famous across the Isan region for his powerful amulets and his charitable works. His name — Koon (คูณ), meaning multiplication — is associated with the belief that his amulets multiply wealth and fortune, while also providing the klaew klad protective quality that helps devotees escape harm.
