This sacred amulet features the revered Luang Pho Phra Sai, one of the most important Buddha images in northeastern Thailand, housed at Wat Pho Chai.
The front depicts the Buddha seated in meditation, sheltered by the multi-headed Naga (serpent), symbolising protection, spiritual power and enlightenment. The intricate detailing of the Naga reflects traditional Lao-Thai artistic influence, characteristic of the Nong Khai region.
The reverse side shows a sacred stupa flanked by two Nagas, representing guardianship and auspicious energy. This amulet belongs to the “Boon Barami” (Merit & Virtue) batch, consecrated during the grand Buddhist blessing ceremony in B.E. 2558 (2015 CE).
