This miniature statue depicts Luang Pu Ngern of Wat Bang Klan, one of Thailand’s most revered monk saints and a figure long associated with prosperity and good fortune.

The statue was consecrated in B.E. 2548 (2005 CE) during a merit-making ceremony presided over by Phra Ratchawimonyaan (Thong Sai Chantasobhano), the abbot of Wat Thep Phithak Punnaram. The blessing ceremony took place in Tak Bai District, Narathiwat Province, marking an auspicious 74-year commemorative event. The ceremony was commissioned by Khun Nakorn Thodthong.
